Hi! I’m Susan, and I do LUV teaching! For the past 11 years I’ve taught 3rd grade in Massachusetts and have had a blast creating resources and routines to get my kids thinking deeply, communicating effectively, and (drum roll…) refining their ideas as they grow. I am passionate about using LITERATURE every day across all curricular standards! I support my students in making their own strong connections across the curriculum which deepens their understandings and develops their love of learning. Plus, sharing literature is fun, engaging, develops language, and… brings us all great JOY!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, playing with our cat, Andy, reading on the couch, and dreaming of new ways to spark joy. Come join me in this pursuit! 📚✏️❤️
